A case has come to light in Turkaulia police station area of Motihari district where a student who had gone to her friend’s birthday party was given a drugged cold drink and raped. This incident was carried out by the friend’s elder brother. Regarding this incident, Superintendent of Police Kantesh Kumar Mishra has issued instructions to the lady police station in-charge Kirtika Kumari to arrest the accused brother and sister. However, amid various discussions about the incident, the accused brother and sister have gone underground.
According to the information, a 10th standard student (16) in the village had gone to her friend’s house to attend her birthday celebration. Here the elder brother of the said friend’s intentions turned bad towards her. After that, he made the student drink a cold drink mixed with intoxicants, after which she started feeling dizzy. Then her friend took her to her room to rest. During this time, the elder brother of the friend raped the student. He also made a video of her. When she regained consciousness, the accused also threatened to circulate her obscene video on the Internet and social media.
Five days after the incident, the video broadcast by her was found by the girl’s father. After this, there was an uproar. An FIR has been lodged in the women’s police station on the statement of the victim. After taking the statement of the girl, the police has also got her medical examination done. In this case, the brother and his sister have been made accused. The SP has formed a special team for the arrest of the accused under the leadership of women police station in-charge Kirtika Kumari. The team is conducting raids to arrest them.
This incident of Turkaulia police station area has shaken the entire district. However, Superintendent of Police Kantesh Kumar Mishra has formed a special team to arrest the brother and sister who committed this inhuman and reprehensible act. The police will conduct a speedy trial against the accused.
